It sets in just 30 seconds and cures in 30 minutes...that's more my kind of speed. DAP products have been a … [Read more...]

Not to worry though , I still have 18 more fantastic thrifty makeovers on their way! :) Let's get to today's makeover...this clock from the heart of the 80's. This was a staple in 80's décor: Mine was navy blue, and I loved it. When I came across this one at the thrift store, I saw past the clock and instead envisioned it as a cool cabinet. I told you the other day I rarely pass up little cabinets since they are … [Read more...]

DIY Jewelry Storage

Hello Lovelies and welcome back to this fun makeover series! We made it a whole week woohoo! Today is number seven and I'm sharing what I did with these pretty aqua dishes I just could not leave behind at the thrift store: I was so smitten with them, and for 75¢ a piece I scooped them right up, having no clue what I was going to do with them. I decided on a plan for three of these pieces, along with a set of candlesticks (only one pictured) that I picked up marked down to 48¢ each on … [Read more...]

Patterned Sofa Table

We made it to day #3 yippee! Ha ha...I'm sharing a sofa table I found at a yard sale in my own neighborhood last Spring for $10.  I bought it from the same lady I bought this $60 hutch from. It was solid and I knew I could do something with it eventually. Well eventually is here and I finally got around to doing something with it! Here it is as you may have seen in the sneak peek I gave you yesterday: I started by sanding the top with the intention of staining it and painting the legs. … [Read more...]
