It's been a little over a year since we completely overhauled our front yard. I found that nature can be a fickle thing. As much detail as I put into selecting just the right plants for just the right spot... ... and made sure that I had odd numbers for aesthetic value, Nature took it's own course... ...and I'm ok with it. Probably like most, I've heard quite a bit about The Old Lucketts Store from Marian of Miss Mustard Seed. It is time...time to change out my Winter to Spring wreath. Isn't it crazy how expensive wreaths can be to buy already finished? There are so many new ways to create a budget-friendly wreath floating around out there, but I'm a fan of the traditional flowers-on-grapevine wreaths. We live a little over a mile from the ocean. Living in our neighborhood is a blessing...and a curse. It's close enough, but just far enough away from all the hustle. Being able to ride our bikes to the beach or walk to the water park is awesome. Plus we really love our close-knit community. But to own a home here, we've had to settle on a few things. I live in a three bedroom home with my husband and two sons, ages two and ten. There is no room for me to house my treasured finds and upcycles-in-waiting let alone a place to actually create.
