I’m so glad you’re here today! I’m sharing my Outdoor Christmas tour with you, along with the easiest wreath I have ever made, as part of the bHome Christmas Tour! I even made a VIDEO, y’all!
Let’s start at the front door, shall we?
It had poured rain the night before, so everything was just drying out.
And how about my super EASY DIY wreath?
I made it from an old wreath I’ve had for years, just added a swag and a bow.
I pulled all of the sprigs of greenery out of the side where the swag was going and beefed up the rest with it. You could also use a grapevine wreath or a greenery wreath.
Then I cut off most of the stem of the swag (Found at Michaels), bent it a little, and attached it with floral wire. I usually DIY my bows, but I cheated and bought this one from Michaels ready-made on sale for around $5. It coordinated with the other ribbon I was using outside.
My front door is so far from the street that no one notices the finer details on my wreaths anyway, so simple works just fine.
To the right of my entry is this little seating area…
See all those lights? My video will show you what they all look like at night! It’s so pretty all lit up.
And if you back up just a bit more…you’ll see this…
It’s Santa’s workshop! We built it a few years ago. It was so fun to build and decorate!
Here it is all aglow at night:
You really have to see it all together with all the lights…
And that brings us to that video I made just for you…it’s my Outdoor Christmas Tour all lit up at night!
Photos just don’t do it justice, so I thought I would create a fun video instead to share it with you!
Isn’t it better to see it in action? Hope you enjoyed that and it didn’t give you any trouble viewing it. (If so, you can also see it here.)
We love to decorate outdoors for the Holidays, and my kids get a big kick out of Santa’s Workshop!

Oh my gosh Christy, Santa’s Workshop is ADORABLE, especially lit up at night! I was expecting you to pan into the window to see a life-sized Santa leaning over a workbench. The exterior of your house looks beautiful – so festive!
Christy K. James says
Thanks, Marie! It’s so pretty in person, harder to capture on video or in photos, but you get the idea anyway. We do actually have a life-sized Santa and a Christmas tree that we usually put inside, but the kids have been playing inside it this year, so we left them out. 🙂
Paula@SweetPea says
