Vintage Coffee Table Makeover

Hello Awesome Friends! Are ya'll up for a makeover today? I'm actually sharing a makeover of a makeover ha ha! This is the second makeover for this rather dated coffee table: I originally found this at a yard sale for $15. One of our themes for Themed Furniture Thursday at that time was "Pottery Barn Knock-offs", and this was a bit similar to the Tivoli coffee table by PB, so it got  a sleek black makeover: I had decided that I would share this for TFT then paint it white and … [Read more...]

How to Make a Tray from a Frame {My Best Selling Tray!}

Hey there, crafty Friends! Do you know what the top two sellers in my booth are? The first is chalkboards, hands down. A close second is trays. Buyers love things that serve a purpose. Mini Shelf Makeover

Hi friends! Welcome back to day #2 of my March Madness Series! I've got a sweet little mini shelf makeover that I'm sharing today. I found this last Summer at the thrift store for $3 whole dollars and it has long sold in my booth, but I never got a chance to share it. Here it is as I found it: A little homely, but I thought it could be sweet painted. It got a new beadboard backing and a fresh new paint job that gave it an entirely new feel. This frumpy dated little mini shelf is … [Read more...]

Today I'm sharing the transformation of this little side table: I found this at a thrift store for $49.99 a month ago, and I remember thinking the details on this piece would paint up beautifully. Headboard turned Cottage Inn Bed and Breakfast Sign

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing a sign I made out of a thrift store headboard.  The very best part is this headboard was only $3.49!! Score! They had about ten of them, probably donated by a nearby hotel that was doing some updating. Here's what I started with: I immediately saw this as a sign. Here's how it turned out: Look familiar? If you've been following me a while, you may remember this headboard that I transformed very similarly: I added hooks to this one to give it … [Read more...]
