Take a Number {Fence Scrap Wall Décor}

Hello lovely Friends! On Thursday I shared this sweet little bookcase that got a whole lot more character with some paint and the addition of these old fence pickets I white-washed: Reclaimed Wood Bookcase I had to take apart the fence section I had in order to do it and was left with three of these pieces: Of course you know I can't throw anything away, so I decided to white-wash one of them along with the pickets for the back of the shelf. Then as I was digging around my garage, … [Read more...]

Coastal Tray Makeover

Hi Friends! Are you up for a thrifty makeover today? I found this super large oval tray at the thrift store  a few weeks back. This thing is really big! It was $12, but I just had to bring it home: This was gorgeous at one time, but had really started to show its age, so I decided to give it a completely new look: Doesn't even look like the same tray, right? I painted the tray in a mix of Annie Sloan's French Linen and Pure White. Then I created this graphic in Photoshop … [Read more...]

I found this one at an estate sale at this quaint little cottage about six houses from the ocean: I bought a few pieces at that sale, including this farmhouse hutch and this desk, all of which I've redone and sold long ago...all except one. I went back on Sunday when everything was marked down and picked up this yellow dresser for $25: The price was right and it was in … [Read more...]
