I have got the simplest wreath to share with you today. I know I always say that, but I think it’s even easier than my Simple Spring Wreath, because you don’t even need a bow! This is my new tulip wreath:
Isn’t she perty? I’m going to share exactly how I made it, but first let’s get a quick peek at my Spring mantel:
I love all the green. It’s so fresh and full of life!
Here’s what you’ll need to make this simple tulip wreath:
Those are fake tulips by the way, and I can always find a perfectly good wreath at the thrift store. This was only 99¢ because it was out of season and the flowers came right off. These were hot-glued on but half the time, the stems are just tucked into the wreath.
These stems are missing from the photo, I decided to add them in the end:
First I unwrapped the piece of grapevine that is holding the wreath together and then pulled it gently so that it would unravel a bit until I was able to separate it into two pieces. This is what I ended up with:
I wanted it to feel lighter and looser and act mainly as a form for the tulips.
Then I cut my tulips apart. I purchased these at Michaels for around $6. This was one bunch which had several tulips.
I bent the stem slightly into an arc shape and placed it on my wreath. Then I used floral wire to secure it to my wreath.
The first tulip I added did not have a leaf. I chose one with a leaf next and wired it in place as well.
I continued with this pattern.
When I was finished, it felt like it could use a little something more. So I cut the other bunch of stems into individual stems (without the grassy parts) and added those where there were no leaves.
Then I felt like it was just right! How easy was that?! We love easy!
I mounted it to this $2 estate sale window I revived. It’s the perfect backdrop for my wreath.
I purchased the wooden banner pieces at Michaels on sale for 29¢ a piece. They looked like this before I gave them a coat of spray chalkboard paint:
I strung them with jute and tied them to the grate.
Who’s ready to get craftin?

Beautiful! I love that metal grate pattern. Where online did you purchase it?

Thanks, Lorena! My husband bought it years ago, and he don’t recall where. I have seen similar metal panels at Home Depot near the lumber, though.

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
