Hi everyone! A couple of months ago I shared this little table in a guest post. In case you didn’t get at chance to check it out then, I thought I’d share it here today!
This is a sweet table I redid for my last show. I found it at an estate sale last Summer. The house I found it at looked like time had stood still and nothing had been touched in several decades. You seriously could have put up velvet ropes at each door way and called it a museum! (I’m so serious.) It creeped my mom out, but I was fascinated.
Here it is in all its dusty glory:
I painted it with my DIY chalk paint and found a French graphic from The Graphics Fairy for the top.
I transferred the graphics using this method and painted them in with acrylic paint.
I love the scalloped edge detail.
I sealed it with a coat of Annie Sloan’s clear wax.
I found this glass tray-top table at the same sale and gave it a similar makeover:
These were fun pieces to redo and they both found new homes at my show. 🙂

Oh you would have loved it, Nancy!! The house looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades! There was so much good stuff there, but I only had a little room in my car. And yes, I love Karen’s graphics! XO

I love this table! Shared on my FB page. 🙂 I’m going to check out your transfer method because I haven’t had much luck with transferring lately…
(p.s. I found this same “before” table at a thrift store a couple weeks ago with the hefty price tag of $99… ouch. The style is so classic and beautiful though!)

Thanks for the share, Jen! I think I paid $30 for this table. I wish I had more room in my car at the time…I would have snatched up a few more pieces! Can’t wait to see your flower furniture transformation. I know it will be lovely! XO
