Fence Picket Signs

Sit, relax and enjoy this FREE project I have to share with you today...a sign made from an old fence picket: I stood on my new dining room table to get this one (the things I do for you). This is actually from the gate at my old house. My sister-in-law who still lives near my old house let me know that the new owners were replacing their fence. I love it when friends and family look out for good garbage for me! I shared a pic of them spilling over the top of my husband's truck bed … [Read more...]

Transform an Old TV Tray

Hi friends!  Today I'm sharing a little TV tray transformation. I picked this TV tray up at a yard sale for $1. It was part of this haul which you may have seen a couple of times before:   Everyone has had one of these at some point, but for only $1? I'll take it! I couldn't pass it up. Here's what I came up with: I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Graphite for the base. I painted in my star first, using DIY chalk paint in Behr's Cottage White...two coats, … [Read more...]

How to Build a Headboard Bench

Hello lovelies! Today I'm going to share with you what I did to my pineapple bed I found at Lucketts this Spring. You may remember it looking like this: Both the headboard and my garden look much different these days! Here's what that headboard is looking like these days... Quilled Paper Skull & Halloween Mantel

Hello spooktabulous friends mwah ha ha ha!  I hope you don't mind if I share a little Halloween project with you today. I was looking to make something new for my mantel to add to my decorations this year and this is just the perfect piece! This was a CHEAP project to make, as in it cost me all of $1.63! Unfortunately, I can't promise that it was quick and easy.  Although, it was one of those projects that isn't labor intensive and you can sit in one place (unlike most of the projects I take … [Read more...]
