Patio Set Refresh

Hello sweet Friends!! I am excited today to share some of the progress we've made out back! You may remember me mentioning that I still had the loveseat to my outdoor patio set when I shared the two side chairs that went with it in this post. I redid those for our side porch and was debating whether or not to redo the loveseat to go along with them out there. However the truth is, we rarely sit out on our side porch, so I hated to waste it out there when we really needed seating for our deck … [Read more...]

Kids’ Table and Chairs Makeover

Amazing Friends, I finally finished the little table and chair set I brought home from my booth to redo! That set has been in my booth for well over a year and I just could not figure out why it hadn't sold. Here it is as I found it: I found the chairs for only $5 for the pair at one thrift store, then a few months later, I found the table to complete the set at another. Lucky, huh? Here is a peek at their first redo: You can see the whole first makeover HERE. I just loved … [Read more...]

Cane-backed Chair Makeover (with Spray Paint!)

Hello sweet friends! I have a quick makeover for ya'll today! I have been working on a few outdoor projects recently and was hoping to photograph them this weekend, however the weather has not been on my side for taking photos! So instead I worked on a couple 0f projects in between rain showers, including this chair: Perty, eh? This is one of two chairs I bought to use in our Halloween display last year, as part of a dining table set up: Ooh spooky! (See more of our Halloween … [Read more...]

Simple Fix for a Broken Cane Seat

Hello beautiful friends! Have you ever passed on a chair because it had a damaged seat? Well today I am getting together with my Furniture Fixer Upper girls to share furniture flips, and I have one such chair to share! I picked this up at the thrift store last week at the bargain discount price of $6.98: A busted cane seat might be a deal breaker for most, but I have been down this road before and knew I could make it functional again. Here is how this chair looks now: What … [Read more...]

Booth Update

Hello beautiful friends! The last time I took ya'll on a trip to my booth was back in August, so I figured it was time for another visit! How does that sound? But first, I wanted to let ya'll know that my Mom loved her new necklace organizer! I had planned to take it to her early Tuesday morning, hopefully before she saw my post, but I was too late...she saw it on my blog. She texted me that she loved it ha ha. See it HERE if you missed it... it was a real trash-to-treasure project! If you … [Read more...]

Headboard Bench from a $15 Thrift Store Find

Hello amazing friends!! Welcome to Furniture Fixer Upper Day! I love reviving old furniture and once a month I get to do it with five other super talented ladies! Be sure to look for links to their makeovers at the bottom of this post. Today I am sharing what I did with this bed I scored at the thrift store for $15 well over a year ago: I've mentioned before that I rarely pass up a good twin headboard, and to find one already painted was a bonus! The paint job wasn't so hot, but it … [Read more...]

$5 Thrift Store Rocker Makeover

Happy Thursday, lovely friends! Today I have a quick little makeover for y'all. A few months ago my favorite thrift store near my house had two small rocking chairs for only $5 each. I always pick up children's rockers when I see them because they always sell quickly. I shared the first one back in January. You can see that one HERE. I've included a few affiliate links so you can find the products I love.  Today I'm sharing chair #2: I gave it one coat of DIY chalk paint (Recipe … [Read more...]

Spindle Headboard Repurposed

I think my favorite thing in the whole world is repurposing things, how about you? Amazing friends, today I am sharing how I gave this $10 thrift store spindle headboard a whole new purpose: I always  have a hard time passing up a good deal on a perfectly good twin headboard, and one that has spindles? Well that doesn't stand a chance...it is definitely coming home with me! One of my favorite ways to repurpose them is to simply cut off the legs: Paint it, and add a few … [Read more...]

French Provincial Dressing Table Redo

Happy Thursday, awesome friends! Today I'm sharing a dressing table that I originally painted way back in 2013. It was in our old master bedroom, but no longer has a home here at our new house. I decided to freshen it up a bit and send it to the shop, but first I took some pretty new photos to reshare it! Here it is before: I know it looks pretty here, but in person it just felt dated. I love pretty much anything French provincial though! I found it at an estate sale where … [Read more...]
