Hi friends! Today I am sharing the easiest Spring wreath ever! ( I swear!) This year we hosted my family and my husband’s family for an egg hunt and Easter dinner. When I was running around like crazy getting my house together before everyone arrived, I decided my entry needed a little Springtime sprucing, so I headed to the garage to see what I could come up with. I found these white blossoms (on the right) that I ended up not using in my Spring Tulip Basket, and never returned…
I’m so bad for that! They came from Hobby Lobby. Then I found this half wreath:
By half-wreath I mean this is probably not even a half of a wreath. I have broken several rings of grapevine off of this one to plump up other wreaths that I have made in the past and this is all that remains. It had to do because it was all I had!
I cut apart my white blossoms using needle nose pliers…
Then I just started sticking them in…
I love an asymmetrical wreath because you don’t have to worry about being…well, symmetrical!
I kept adding the blossoms in. This was two stems worth of these blossoms.
I hot glued here and there just a bit to keep them from Falling right out, especially since this is a really sparse wreath.
And voila!
It really is so sweet and simple, and did I mention EASY?
I didn’t want anything heavy, so this wreath of leftover grapevine and simple white blossoms was perfect.
Look how clean my stairs look in the reflection. They are not that clean, I swear.
I love this mirror. It was a yard sale find for only $2!! I found it kind of late in the day, and I couldn’t believe no one had grabbed it.
I love it above this little estate sale table I redid recently. This is about it for our entry way, there are really no walls aside from this little two foot piece of wall here.
I love the touch of Spring this super simple wreath adds as soon as you walk in the front door.
It might have taken me maybe fifteen minutes and that includes finding the materials! This would be great on any mirror, or even a window.
This is also perfect to share as my Get Your DIY On Spring project!
If you are new around here, Get Your DIY On started as a 16 week Fall challenge where I and four awesome bloggers challenged ourselves to create a project that fit a particular theme every week for 16 weeks. It was a blast and so we decided to keep it as a monthly challenge. We share our projects and then follow up with a link party on Sunday at 7:00pm EST where other bloggers can join in and share what they created to fit the theme for the month. There are always a ton of creative ideas shared that you can visit to get inspired! We’ll share our favorite projects next week.

Beautiful wreath .. Extra special since it was simple and inexpensive. And what a FIND that mirror was!! I love the shape. I’m headed out to a yard sale this morning In hopes of finding my own new treasures.

Thanks, Sue! I love that mirror. I hope you found some goodies today! We stopped by an estate sale and I left with a purse, a hammer, and an ice scraper. Better than coming home empty handed I guess! 🙂

Thanks so much, Colleen! Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂

Your wreath looks pretty on your mirror and is a perfect spring decoration. I like that you were able to make it by shopping your garage. 🙂
Christy K. James says
Thanks, Paula! Free is the best, or in my case, being able to use something I was supposed to return and never did! Have a great weekend, my friend! 🙂

It’s really pretty! Dogwood blossoms are one of my favorites. I like simple and fast, too, as I’m not a very good DIYer. Here is a dumb question — how do you have it mounted on the mirror???
Christy K. James says
Thanks, Jan! I love Dogwood blossoms too. I used a small clear command hook to hang it. 🙂
Mandy Hank says
Those blossoms are gorgeous!! Love it!

Your wreath turned out pretty!! Being able to use what you have is the best, and the simpler the better. Have a great weekend, my friend! XOXO

I’ve tried making exactly one wreath and it looked like total poo and I’ve never been able to try it again.
It’s a tale of tragedy.
