$6 Rooster Lamp Makeover

Happy Thursday, beautiful friends! I have a simple makeover for ya'll today! Aren't those the best sometimes? I'm not usually drawn to roosters, but when I spied this lamp at the thrift store with a price tag of $6.25, I knew I had to bring it home: The shade was pretty jazzy, but it was yellowed and cracked on the inside, so it couldn't be saved. China Hutch Update

Hello lovely Friends!! Good news...I am happy to report that my floors are officially in!! Real progress, ya'll. I still need to add the quarter round trim around the perimeter before I can call it done, but it is so nice to see it coming together! Today I am sharing my china hutch. Painting Unfinished Wood Furniture

In a perfect world, every furniture piece I paint would have a dark brown stain to start since it is the perfect first layer for distressing.
