Hello dear friends! If you stopped by on Tuesday, you know that I finished my PPost Shut-Down Thrift Store Haul! While I still have three pieces left in my Mother’s Day Haul that I have been working through simultaneously, I thought I’d better get a new stash of goodies going. Today I’m sharing what I found!
It was a bit of a challenge to find furniture, but I think I did alright in the smalls department:
First up are these two pitchers:
The smaller of the two was $2.25 and the larger one was $4.25. I always pick up white pitchers when I see them. I may do arrangements in these for my booth.
Up next is another smaller item, this pretty clock I spied for $5.25:
I loved the carved details on this!
How about a lamp? This one was only $4.25:
It had some pretty details too!
And how about a pair of lamps?
These weren’t super cheap at $8.25 each, but I liked that there was a pair of them, perfect for a buffet or sofa table. I did have a full punch card that gave me 20% off though! I was able to use it on a few other items like the clock above as well.
I actually found two more lamps that aren’t pictured above that I’ll share at the end.
Next up is this little box:
I don’t know if it’s ugly or cute lol, but but I thought paint could do wonders for it for only $2.98.
Here is another clock I found:
It was $10 which is a bit more than it would have been priced before everything shut down. It has a HomeGoods tag on the back, but I thought it would be even prettier painted.
This next piece is a popular home decor piece from the 80’s:
What would my haul be without a basket? (There’s more than this…stay tuned.)
This one I actually found at our Antique Mall and loved that it had a wooden lid. I believe I paid $8 for it:
I always sell these little spice racks, so I usually pick them up and this one was only 99¢!
This next piece looks like a Hobby Lobby mass-produced piece, but for $6.25, I figured I could give it a little more personality!
My only thrift store furniture score from the bunch was this dresser I nabbed for $60:
Isn’t she gorgeous?? The top isn’t nearly as pristine, but overall it was in really great shape and what a steal at that price! The drawers are all super clean too. I grabbed the ticket on this one immediately! I’m playing with a couple of ideas for this one already, but I’ll finish my Mother’s Day Haul pieces before I get to this one.
And finally, how about a couple of small frames? They are great smalls for the booth and when I can find pretty ornate or chunky ones, they paint up so pretty!
These were both $2.98:
I also found this one, but forgot to get a photo of it with the rest:
This one was $2.25.
I also picked up these sweaters that weren’t in the group photo:
One was half off and I used my coupon that I used on the set of lamps on these also, so only $14 for all four. Stay tuned to see what they become because I won’t be wearing them!
And here are two more lamps that weren’t included in the group photo either:
This one was half off of $15…not too bad for $7 for a really large lamp with beautiful details! I’ll be sharing what I did with it on Tuesday.
I’ll also be sharing this one on Tuesday:
It too was half off, but it started at $8, so only $4 for a standing lamp! I love lamps in my booth for the ambient lighting they add to the space, so I always check out the lamp aisle. I do try to look for really good deals since I usually have to buy shades as well. (My favorite place to find shades is HomeGoods because they are generally very reasonably priced.)
When I had all my items gathered, I decided to go digging around in my storage room to see what else I could find. It is currently housing Jack’s college stuff and spare TP lol:
Don’t even ask me to get you anything out of that closet!
I can’t blame him for the mess of the rest of the room though:
From behind that black trash bag (that houses my packing materials), I pulled two more baskets.
This one I paid $6.25 for:
And this ugly duckling came home with me for $2.98:
I’m not making any promises on that one!
Then I dug on the bottom shelves and pulled out this flatware box that was marked $4.25:
It looked like someone kicked it down the street, but I’m sure we can work some magic on it!
And here is the other corner of my storage room:
As you can see, this is also Miss Lyla’s room. I am determined to get this stash whittled down as soon as Jack’s stuff is out of here. Redoing several frames into chalkboards last week helped clear a bit out. I also pulled out that sewing machine table that you see stacked there to put in with this haul:
I bought this probably two summers ago from a nice gentleman at a yard sale for $20. He insisted on loading it into my car for me, and said as he was loading it, “I hope you don’t plan to slap paint on this. I redid it myself.” I assured him I would not. And that right there is why it is still sitting in my storage room! I’m sure the statute of limitations has run out on that promise by now though, don’t you think?
And that is my new End of Summer Haul!
Enough to keep me busy for a couple of months at least!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my goodies.
I’ll see ya’ll back here on Tuesday with two lamps:
UPDATE: See how these look now HERE! I think you’ll be surprised!
Have a great weekend!!
Don’t Miss a Thing!
If you like what you see, there are several ways to follow along!
