5 Ways to Add Farmhouse Charm to the Kitchen {and a Thrifty Makeover too!}

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by my farmhouse today! Say what? You know I have nothing even remotely close to a farmhouse, but today as part of this month's Decor Challenge, my Decor Enthusiast Girls and I are sharing our take on ways to add a little farmhouse style our spaces. Curbside Drawer to Back-to-School Organizer

Hello Friends! I'm sharing another curbside find turned into something useful (and pretty) today! To be honest, I rarely actually find things curbside, except when I'm yard saling. I pulled up to my very first sale of the day a few weeks ago and spotted a dresser that was smashed to pieces on the curb, along with these perfectly good drawers: The owners were happy to have me haul them away for them! I was thinking at the very least I could salvage the hardware. Then when my insanely … [Read more...]

$60 Yard Sale Hutch

I left my Mom in charge at ours so I could take a quick ride through the neighborhood to scout out any goodies when I came across this beauty: For $60!! Yes, please! I also picked up a great console table for $10 at the … [Read more...]

Old Shelf Saved

I have  a fun little makeover to share with you today. This shelf was purchased dusty and neglected for $5. It has a funky top shelf that I imagine held silverware at one time, but would not be very useful today: So I wacked it out and replaced that piece with a regular shelf: Then I gave it a wainscot backing and a coat of Annie Sloan's Duck Egg Blue chalk paint... I love this color. Much better... now it's functional again. I'm really pleased with how it … [Read more...]
