Sewing Table Redo

The awesome thing about painting furniture white is that if you ever tire of it, it is a great base for so many other colors. Today, amazing friends, I thought I would share one of the pieces I used to have in our old house that I no longer have room for in our new house. And yep I painted it...again! This is what this pretty little table looked like when I originally found it at a yard sale for $20 several years ago: It had pretty details but was showing some wear, especially on … [Read more...]

Thrift Store Hutch Makeover

Hello awesome Friends! It's Thursday and if you saw my super sweet makeover on Tuesday, you know I'm back today sharing what I did with this pretty hutch: You may have seen this on my Facebook page last week along with some other fun finds I scored. I sold almost all the furniture I had left in my booth in January, so I needed furniture to flip, and fast! I decided to head out for a day of thrifting last Thursday. I stopped at seven stores and found a few treasures to help get me … [Read more...]

Folding Screen Makeover

Hello sweet Friends!! Today my Décor Enthusiast Girls and I are back together after a little Holiday hiatus sharing something I love...stenciled projects! I share a bunch of stenciled makeovers around here, but I had to come up with something new for today. I decided that this folding screen I found at the thrift store a couple of months ago would be a perfect canvas for stencils: It was $35 and 25% off so I ended up paying $26 for it. I have included a few affiliate links so you can … [Read more...]

99¢ Thrift Store Table Makeover

You read that right, Friends, 99¢ for a table!! Hey there, and welcome to Trash-to Treasure Tuesday, one of my favorite days of the month! Not only am I sharing a thrifty makeover today, but four of my favorite treasure-maker friends are too! Look for their posts at the bottom. This table is a perfect trash-to-treasure project! Clearly the person who priced it thought it was trash. I found it while thrifting,  just before the holidays. (When I was supposed to be Christmas shopping, of … [Read more...]

Mini Kitchen Island Update

Hello lovely Friends! I hope everyone in the southeast stayed safe during the hurricane. It turned out to sea just before reaching us here on the coast of Virginia, but we still got a ton of rainfall and high winds, resulting in many areas of flooding and a ton of downed trees. Luckily we were spared both! It's one of my favorite days of the month, Trash-to-Treasure Tuesday!! (See all of my previous T2T Tuedsay posts HERE.) Today I'm sharing my neighbor's trash that I turned into treasure. … [Read more...]

Simple Side Table Makeover

Welcome, amazing Friends! Can you believe it's the last day of May already?? Where did the month go? Today I'm sharing a petite side table I found at an estate sale TWO YEARS ago. I have no idea why I have resisted this makeover for so long, but it probably had a lot to do with the two words excellent and condition. It's so much harder to find motivation for a piece that really doesn't need "fixing": Am I right? I finally decided that I just needed to get it out of the garage, and … [Read more...]

Antique Dresser Revival

Hello there! Are you in the mood to see a dirty old dresser made beautiful again? Then come on in, kick off your shoes and have a seat! A couple of weeks ago I spied this little lady at my all-time favorite thrift store: It was a bit more than I like to spend at $79 (I am such a cheapo), but I just couldn't leave her behind. I brought her home, cleaned her up and painted her in this beautiful blue: Of course if I'm going to add a splash of color to a piece, it's usually blue. … [Read more...]

Coastal Pedestal Table

Hi Friends! I can't believe a whole month has passed since our last Themed Furniture Thursday! May is flying by at record speed. I was just getting ready to start my floor demolition for my new hardwood floors when I shared this Pottery Barn Inspired Coffee Table for last month's theme: Pottery Barn Inspired Coffee Table This month's theme was much easier (or so I thought)...small tables. For this project I found the perfect table at my neighborhood yard sale: This beauty was only … [Read more...]
