Welcome…I have a cute makeover for you today!
My Mom had these two petite side tables in her attic that she had painted and stenciled a while ago. She never was happy with the results and offered them to me to redo for my booth.
Of course I’ll take them!
Here they are with their stencil:
Not terrible, but for this to work the stencil needed to be oval. And not brown.
After I sanded the stencil away and repainted the top, I decided to give these sweet antique tables a French accent:
I think the French graphic makes them much more sophisticated. (The angle of the shot makes the graphic seem off-center, but it is centered in real life.)
The French graphic is from the Graphics Fairy. I used this method to transfer the image and then painted it in with acrylic paint.
A light sanding here and there and a coat of wax finishes them off.
Once more before:
And after…
Tres belle!
Have a great weekend!

Girl how did you find the time to squeeze in a furniture makeover during the holidays? Your energy blows me away! Those are great tables and the graphic transformation is perfect. I bet these don’t last long in your booth.

Even though you traded a circle for a circle, it works! Great job!

LOVE this!! I’m so new to all of this – wanting to do some french graphics on a few little end tables for fun, but I’m wondering if you have any tips on how you find your graphics? I notice many are from the graphics fairy, when I click your link it just goes to her homepage, and she has thousands of posts lol…how do I find some of the frecnh graphics you’ve used for your projects? I tried searching by category under “french” and didn’t see them there…
Christy K. James says
Thanks, Julie! I usually find my Graphics by googling “French Graphics” and looking under “Images”. You can also search Pinterest for the same if you have a Pinterest account. Hope this helps! XO
