Night Table: Take Two

Welcome back, sweet friends! Today I'm joining my Furniture Fixer Upper crew! That means not only do I have a new furniture makeover to share, so do my talented friends! And let me tell you...they found some good stuff, ya'll, so be sure to check out their makeovers at the bottom! Here is what I'm giving new life to today: I made this night table over way back when my blog was just a baby back in 2013. This color is Provence by Annie Sloan I believe. It lived in our master bedroom at … [Read more...]

Dated Night Table Makeover

Hello sweet friends, and welcome to Trash-to-Treasure Tuesday! Ya'll know how much I love to make over trash. I was searching high and low for something really trashy to makeover for this occasion, but alas I came up empty. Booooo. Instead I'm bringing you the next piece in my latest thrift store haul. Even if it isn't so trashy, it's a fun makeover nonetheless.  My project started out like this: There is a shelf that looks like it's missing, but it is lying on the bottom there. … [Read more...]

$12 Oak Night Table Makeover

Dear friends, welcome back! I am rolling right through this second bunch of thrift store finds! Today's makeover is this oak night table I scored for $12 on the same stop where I found this tufted foot stool I shared a couple of weeks ago: An oak night table with free dirt for only $12? Yes, please! This poor thang. It was a hot mess and it was SO dirty! If it weren't so big, I would swear it had fallen between the counter and refrigerator and had been left there for a couple of … [Read more...]

Flopped Night Table Redo

Hey there amazing Friends! I just love this day...it's Trash-to-Treasure Tuesday!! I really love that I get to see four more fabulous makeovers from my friends, and you will too! Be sure to look for links to their makeovers at the bottom. :) I had planned to share a desk that Jack and I planned to team up on, but we hit a little bump in the road so instead I am sharing another piece that I actually would have loved to throw in the trash! About two years ago I shared the makeover of this … [Read more...]

Side Table Update

Happy Tuesday, Friends! I've got a pretty little makeover to welcome you back after the long weekend. I spied this petite side table at the thrift store when I was on my way out the door last week: It was marked $34.95, but all furniture was 20% off and I had a $5 off coupon, so not too bad for $23. If you saw my armoire makeover on Thursday, you might remember the drawers on the inside got the striped treatment, and I decided to go with the same look for this little table as … [Read more...]

Simple Side Table Makeover

Welcome, amazing Friends! Can you believe it's the last day of May already?? Where did the month go? Today I'm sharing a petite side table I found at an estate sale TWO YEARS ago. I have no idea why I have resisted this makeover for so long, but it probably had a lot to do with the two words excellent and condition. It's so much harder to find motivation for a piece that really doesn't need "fixing": Am I right? I finally decided that I just needed to get it out of the garage, and … [Read more...]

Charlotte’s Night Table

Hi Friends and welcome to day#22 of my March Madness, 31 Makeovers in 31 Days Series!! Today's makeover is a sweet one and one that was fun to do since it was for someone special. One of my best friends in the whole world was on the lookout for a night table for her sweet daughter, Charlotte's room. Well actually she asked me to be on the look out and so I have been. Who would have thought it would be so hard to find a simple night table fit for a pretty girl's room? I finally spied this … [Read more...]

Fabric Inlaid Night Table

Hi Friends! On Tuesday I shared the makeover of one VERY brown dresser. As I was just about finished painting it, I realized I had a night table that had very similar lines. So I decided to make it a set. Here is the before: I picked this up for $12 at the thrift store a month or so ago. I loved the hardware and thought the detail on the top drawer would really stand out after a little paint. And I think it does...   The hardware was updated with Rustoleum spray … [Read more...]

IKEA Rast Hack

Hello friends! Have I got a fun makeover to share with you today! A couple of months ago I was contacted by marketing for  Hickory Hardware, asking if I would be interested in participating in an Ikea Rast Hack challenge. That's where you take a very simple piece of Ikea furniture and put your own twist on it. The closest Ikea to me is about three hours away, so I don't shop there too often. I have seen some amazing hacks out there using their basic furniture pieces though, and I was … [Read more...]

Flower Stenciled Side Table

It's time once again to join together with some of my favorite blogging friends to bring you a fun themed furniture makeover.  This month's theme is flowers. Last month's theme was "Bold". I redid a $5 yard sale chair. The theme for the month before was "Metallic". I shared a thrift store side table. I found it a bit more challenging to incorporate flowers into a piece of furniture, but I think I pulled it off. This table was a $5 yard sale find, and kind of boring as is: Here is … [Read more...]
