Hello, amazing friends! I love nothing more than finding a brand new purpose for something old and forgotten! It might actually be my favorite! While I am at the beach playing this week, I’m revisiting these 15 ordinary items repurposed:

I have shared three similar round ups in the past, and I’ll link to them at the bottom.

15 Ordinary Items Repurposed

First up are these thrift store sweaters:

I turned them into the cutest NO SEW sweater pumpkins ever!

Now is the perfect time to go in search of sweaters for your pumpkins as fall will be here before you know it! If you sell in markets or in a booth, the natural colored ones sold the best for me.

Next on the list are these cabinet doors that my dad had left over from cabinets he used to build:

I was able to create four new decor pieces from these doors…two signs and two hanging organizers:

That green “Blessed” sign was taking forever to sell, so that eventually got a redo along with six other items from my booth HERE.

Up next is this coaster set I picked up for next to nothing at the thrift store:

I decided to remove the coasters and use the holder for my business cards. It was the perfect size!

This next item is something that is abundant at thrift stores…magazine racks!

I turned this one into a pretty centerpiece by adding flowers:

At number five is this headboard and footboard I picked up for $10 at a yard sale:

I turned them both into hanging storage pieces. The headboard became this fun piece:

And the footboard became something a bit more simple:

Up next in this repurposed round up is this chair that my hubby put his foot through a couple of years ago:

Instead of repairing the seat and keeping it as a chair, I decided to cut it up for parts.

Some of them became this shelf:

How about another repurposed cabinet door? This one came out of our kitchen when we redid it:

It was the skinniest cabinet every lol!

I turned it into another shelf:

This next repurpose is one of four pictures I shared in one post:

This one that I added the remnants of a transfer to was my favorite of the bunch.

It became a chalkboard:

This next one only cost me a dollar at a barn sale!

This started out as a harp that holds a mirror on top of a dresser. I added a shelf and some embellishments to give it a whole new purpose:

This $3 thrift store basket never knew it had so much potential:

I was able to cut it in two and create a Summer basket wreath for our front door:

AND I was able to use the other half as a “vase” for my hydrangeas:

I put jars inside to hold the water. I also repurposed the lid of the basket which you can see at the link above!

I’ve been making these for forever, but it’s been a while! These are just simple frames:

One of which I paired with this lamp:

To make this cute mini memo board:

The other frame was paired with a mini pineapple lamp I already had to create another cute one:

This is another recent share…how I repurposed this swivel mirror I had left over from this dresser makeover:

I cut off the top and the bottom parts and turned them into shelves:

I eventually did something with the mirror as well and you can see that HERE! (The jury’s still out on whether I like how that one turned out or not!)

Up next is another headboard set I picked up for $10 at a yard sale:

This one became a bench!

I’ve done quite a few headboard benches, but it’s been a while. I love the charm of them!

At number 14 is this hanging cabinet that also made it into my 21 White Painted Furniture Ideas post:

My sister was getting rid of this cabinet from her bathroom, and I snapped it up!

I flipped it upside down, added feet, and turned it into this petite floor cabinet:

Can’t beat FREE for a cute little cabinet! I love how this one turned out!

And finally, I’ve hardly met a flatware box that didn’t come home with me, but this might be the saddest one. It was $4 at the thrift store:
