Oval French Provincial Side Tables Makeover

Hello sweet Friends! Are ya'll up for a little furniture flip? How about five of them? Today I'm teaming up with my Furniture Fixer Upper Friends, so be sure to check out the furniture pieces they are reviving at the bottom of this post! I found these pretties at the Habitat Restore a few weeks ago: They had just been put out on the floor, and hadn't even been priced yet when I saw them. When I asked a salesperson about the price, she said $25 each and then tried to convince me they … [Read more...]

Revisiting a Dated Dresser Makeover

Hello sweet Friends! Summer is well under way here and I hope you are taking time to enjoy some sunshine where you are. My oldest will be turning 15 in September and I am coming to the realization that sadly, this may be our last Summer with him actually wanting to hang out here with me and my youngest son. Too soon he will be off doing his own thing with his friends...boohoo! SO I really want to make the moments count this Summer, and with that I hope you don't mind if I sprinkle in a … [Read more...]

Side Table Update

Happy Tuesday, Friends! I've got a pretty little makeover to welcome you back after the long weekend. I spied this petite side table at the thrift store when I was on my way out the door last week: It was marked $34.95, but all furniture was 20% off and I had a $5 off coupon, so not too bad for $23. If you saw my armoire makeover on Thursday, you might remember the drawers on the inside got the striped treatment, and I decided to go with the same look for this little table as … [Read more...]

Armoire Makeover

Hey there sweet Friends! I am back today with my Furniture Fixer Upper girls, and we are all sharing furniture flips! I am excited to see what my friends have transformed. Look for their projects at the bottom. :) I'm sharing an armoire I picked up at the thrift store for $75 a couple of months ago. You may remember this photo I shared on my Facebook page when I found it: It was showing some age for sure, but a steal at $75! I've included a few affiliate links so you can find the … [Read more...]

Unfinished Wood Console Table Makeover

Hello awesome Friends! I'm so glad you stopped by today! Actually I'm so glad you stop by every day. :) Remember a week or so ago when I shared this little unfinished table that I painted, one my Dad had made several years ago? See that post HERE if you missed it. Well when I brought this home from my parent's attic, I also picked up its big sister: My parents and I did craft markets for about 15 or so years and these are tables my Dad built. My Mom would paint scenes on top of … [Read more...]

Estate Sale Bookcase Makeover

Hello awesome Friends! Did you miss not having a fresh new makeover from me on Tuesday? I've spoiled you, haven't I? Well hopefully I'll make it up to you today! If you missed it, on Tuesday I shared 10 tools that are must-haves in my workshop, a great resource if you are just getting into the upcycling game! I shared a peek at today's makeover on Tuesday and in my Vintage Night Table post I shared a couple of weeks ago, it's this bookcase I scored at an estate sale for $40: I loved … [Read more...]

Dated Dresser Makeover

Hi awesome friends!! I'm back today with my Trash-to-Treasure Tuesday girls, my favorite! I have a good makeover for you today. I found this dresser at the Salvation Army a few Saturdays ago when all of their furniture was 50% off: I ended up still paying $45 for it, but it was in excellent condition, just a bit dated. I decided to give it a more feminine feel: Much more girly, eh? I used a 50/50 mix of French Linen (Annie Sloan) and Pure White for the stripes. It has … [Read more...]

White-Washed Stool and I Hired an Assistant!

Hi Friends!! I've got a quick little makeover for you today, and some fun news as well. First up is the makeover. I picked up this little stool at the Goodwill a few weeks back: It was in perfect condition, just not my favorite color. I've shown you how I paint something distressed without the original paint color showing through, using petroleum jelly, in this recent post. For this little stool a different method was used so the red wouldn't show through. First it got a couple of … [Read more...]

Coastal Tray Makeover

Hi Friends! Are you up for a thrifty makeover today? I found this super large oval tray at the thrift store  a few weeks back. This thing is really big! It was $12, but I just had to bring it home: This was gorgeous at one time, but had really started to show its age, so I decided to give it a completely new look: Doesn't even look like the same tray, right? I painted the tray in a mix of Annie Sloan's French Linen and Pure White. Then I created this graphic in Photoshop … [Read more...]

Patterned Sofa Table

We made it to day #3 yippee! Ha ha...I'm sharing a sofa table I found at a yard sale in my own neighborhood last Spring for $10.  I bought it from the same lady I bought this $60 hutch from. It was solid and I knew I could do something with it eventually. Well eventually is here and I finally got around to doing something with it! Here it is as you may have seen in the sneak peek I gave you yesterday: I started by sanding the top with the intention of staining it and painting the legs. … [Read more...]
