And today I am back with two more pieces from this same group! 70’s Gold Mirror Makeover

Amazing friends, today's the day! I had two pieces left in my last haul, and I'm keeping one of them as-is to possibly use in my staircase gallery wall. That means today's the day I'm sharing my final piece of this haul woohoo! It seemed like this was such a large pile at the start, didn't it? It's also Trash-to-Treasure Tuesday, so my talented friends are sharing makeovers of their own as well. Be sure to look for their projects at the bottom! Before we get to today's makeover, I have … [Read more...]

$6 Mirror Makeover

I'm about as bad about mirrors as I am about picnic baskets! I really have a hard time passing them up when I see a good deal since they can work in just about any space and are usually good sellers for me. I've shared a couple in the past few months and sweet friends, today I have another! This beauty was only $6.25: However, it wasn't without its flaws. I've included a few affiliate links so you can find the products I love. You might be able to see in the photo above that some … [Read more...]

Thrift Store Decor: The Rest of Thrift Store Haul #2!

Hello beautiful friends! I'm back today with what was left from thrift store haul #2, three pieces that turned into pretty home decor! Here is the first item I'm sharing today: This was a steal at $9.98, but this was not an unusual find. I find pretty mirrors similarly priced quite often and they are usually good sellers for me. If you're in need of a mirror, definitely hit up the thrift store first. This one was from 1977 according the stamp on the back and it was heavy duty plastic. … [Read more...]

Thrift Store Picture Repurposed

Hello amazing friends! Are ya'll ready to see what else I salvaged from that pile of thrift store goodies? Today I'm sharing how I repurposed this picture: It was marked down twice to $4.98. The frame was wood and had lovely detailing on it,  so in the cart it went. Now when I said I repurposed the picture, I fibbed a bit because I don't think there is much hope for the actual picture, but I was able to reuse the frame in an awesome way. I was working in my shop (aka the garage) … [Read more...]

Pretty Thrift Store Mirror Makeover

Hey there amazing friends, and welcome back! I'm here today sharing another piece from my latest thrifting day, this beautiful mirror: Now this was not on deep discount like the previous two pieces I shared from this haul, but at $25, it was still worth it. It was in perfect condition and didn't need to be made over at all. But you know me...I just can't help myself. Plus I knew it would sell more easily with a fresh new paint job: It matches beautifully with my storage piece … [Read more...]

$6 Thrift Store Mirror Makeover

Beautiful friends, I have another cheapie thrift store makeover for ya'll today! This mirror has been in my stash for probably two years now: It was only $6 so I really couldn't pass it up. It originally had hinges on either side that probably attached to two smaller mirrors on either side, and sat on a dresser. I removed the hinges and filled the holes several months ago and this is how it has sat in my storage room ever since. I decided to pull it out and just start … [Read more...]

Faux Etched Glass Mirror

Hello amazing friends! I have a fun project to share with ya'll today! It all started with this frame I found at the thrift store for $4: It was going to become one of the chalk boards that Jack was working on for my booth, but then I decided I wanted try something fun with it at the last minute. I found a piece of glass to fit it from one of the other frames he was working on and set it aside. I've included a few affiliate links so you can find the products I use. Here is what … [Read more...]

Mirror turned Chalkboard

Hello amazing friends! I have another makeover to share with ya'll from this pile of goodies I picked up last Saturday: It's this mirror I scored for $4.98: If you missed what I did with the baskets, see them HERE. I had passed it up twice before since the mirror in it was so heavy. Then when I saw it last Saturday, it had been marked down again and it occurred to me that it would make a fantastic chalkboard! Don't you think? This wall is in our kitchen and I knew I … [Read more...]
